 PPZ rim cover system
 The perfect cover system for any bolt pattern, including matching fasteners, precision-machined from CNC-machined aluminum. Made in Germany, developed specifically for coating aluminum rims.
 The set contains:
 4 cover plates (suitable for the selected bolt circle)
 20 connecting elements ( for 5 bolt circle ) or 16 connecting elements ( for 4 bolt circle ) – consisting of cone nuts and special screws
 To ensure optimal care of the cover plates and screw connections, we recommend chemical paint stripping at individual intervals.
 Problems with previous methods:
 Masking work with masking tape is time-consuming, tedious, and wasteful. Furthermore, screw seats are often neglected.
 Vacuuming surfaces is only suitable for components with low quality requirements or infrequent use. However, in a professional wheel coating company, quality cannot depend on the current state of the art.
 Many powder coaters use rubber masking for screw holes and the flat surface of the wheel hub. While these maskings work perfectly at first, cleaning them becomes extremely difficult and time-consuming after the first application. If not thoroughly cleaned, residues remain, which can transfer to the freshly coated rims.
 We tried this system ourselves and found that powder coating residues regularly occurred – either due to pre-cleaning with compressed air or due to air turbulence during curing in the oven.
 Although there are companies that specialize in stripping paint from silicone covers, this would have to be done after each use, which is extremely uneconomical.
